Nostalgia trip again. I'm listening to ScreamTracker modules I collected in 1994 and looking at the guestbook to a homepage I setup in 1998.

Saw Deep Rising last night. Waste of time.

Guess what?

I was looking at STMs I collected back in 1995 (couple of them are from 1998 tho). There is also one .IT file....now I forgot what .IT stood for!!

Re: same here...

Impulse Tracker. The latest and the greatest.

Others are:

MOD - Amiga Tracker / ProTracker
STM - Scream Tracker 2
S3M - Scream Tracker 3
XM - Fast Tracker 2 (XM = eXtended Midi)

Plus lots of mostly unheard of formats like MTM and FAR (from MultiTracker and Farandole Music Composer).

Re: Mod??!!!

Cheap thrills.

Go dig up 1993.mod or 64mix.stm to see what I mean.

Re: Mod??!!!

64mix.stm and photo.stm (expands to Photographic) were the first two stm's I acquired...and they are still couple of the best. Don't remember from where I got them....

Re: Mod??!!!

I don't have photo.stm around. Must have knocked it off sometime.

I remember where, when and whom I got those modules from though.

It was in the school computer lab in 1994, from a guy named B. A. Srikanta. Wonder where he is these days.

Re: the

GeoCities seems to have knocked it off. I still have a local copy though.

There wasn't anything on that page. Just a notice that the place was under construction. I haven't any idea how the counter clocked two million hits there. Must have been some odd error.

I refuse to have a counter on my current home page. I don't want to know how many visitors I have now.
